Jabsco 22640-9407 Ballast King Bronze DC Reversible Pump for Wake Board and Ski Boat

The pump is designed to pump water into wakeboard liquid ballast tanks, and when reversed, it also pumps water out of them. It has a flow rate of 15 gallons per minute, enabling it to fill most ballast tanks in around five minutes. The pump is equipped with a Run-Dry Protection Device, which automatically shuts off the pump and protects the impeller from run-dry damage should the pump be mistakenly left on after the Ballast Tank is empty.

The pump's body is made of Bronze, while the Impeller is made of a Jabsco Neoprene compound, and the Seal is a Lip Type. The pump has 1/2" Internal Pipe Threads and 1" External Hose Barb ports. It operates on a 12 Vdc voltage and has an Amp Draw of 19 amps, requiring a 25 amp fuse.

The pump is equipped with a Permanent Magnet Type, Fully Enclosed Stainless Steel Shaft, and a Ball Type Shaft Bearing that is Reversible. The pump has a Duty Cycle of 30 Minutes Max and dimensions of 9.3 x 20.3 x 12 cms (3 5/8 x 8 x 4 3/4 inches), weighing 3 kg (6.6 lb).

The pump has a self-priming flow rate of 15 US gallons/min (57 Litres/min) from dry up to 1.2m (4ft), adding approximately 125 lbs (56kgs) of ballast per minute. The reversible design allows the pump to both fill and empty tanks, and the simple design means fewer wearing parts, ensuring reliable performance.
